Regent Park is a neighbourhood that rose from the rubble of what was once the south part of the Cabbagetown. During the 1930’s, South Cabbagetown was targeted by Toronto city planners for a grand urban renewal scheme called Regent Park. Today Regent Park is making another major transformation called the Regent Park Revitalization. Regent Park consists of low-rise and high-rise apartments, townhouses and row-houses.
