About the Loft - Conveniently located beside the Don River Valley, this small 45 unit building was converted in 2007 by Urbancorp. Originally constructed in 1913, this former tannery checks all the hard loft boxes with beautiful high factory wood ceilings, original exposed brick walls and large windows. In in addition to the original four storey building, three new floors of soft lofts were added to the top including four penthouses with rooftop decks.
About the Neighbourhood - Regent Park is a neighbourhood that rose from the rubble of what was once the south part of the Cabbagetown. During the 1930’s, South Cabbagetown was targeted by Toronto city planners for a grand urban renewal scheme called Regent Park. Today Regent Park is making another major transformation called the Regent Park Revitalization. Regent Park consists of low-rise and high-rise apartments, townhouses and row-houses.
