About the Loft - Quad Lofts consists of 2 buildings (19 & 23 Brant St.), built by Cresford Developments in 2006. Most lofts contain exposed concrete ceilings up to 10.5 ft, polished concrete floors, concrete columns and balconies or terraces. The two-buildings share a variety of amenities including a fitness centre, visitor parking and a large courtyard with a water feature.
About the Neighbourhood - King West Village was originally part of the Military Reserves of the Town of York – the forerunner to the City of Toronto. In the 1830s the military reserves were auctioned off and a “New Town” development was created for this area. King West evolved as a busy industrial and manufacturing centre. Many of the old industrial buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s have recently been converted to residential and commercial uses.
